This grand home had a tiny master bath and with very little closet space. The most challenging part of the job was to create a large dressing room on an existing sloping roof. It was necessary to retain the beamed sloping ceiling of the family room below. To accomplish this, the dressing room was raised three steps above the bedroom and the new vaulted ceiling tied into the existing gabled roof. The master bedroom was extended forward to create a sitting room and the arched tub area of the master bath was also added to have a relaxing view of the green hills.
