Adding a new family room and extending the kitchen expanded this home. Both rooms open up to a beautifully landscaped rear yard. The bathrooms were remodeled to bring the whole house to a fresh new look. The intention was to have a slightly Asian/Zen flair to the design elements with out being too stylized. The kitchen and family room combine mahogany cabinets with bamboo panels to add color and texture. The wood grain on the bamboo panels are placed at right angles to add visual interest.
